Bayou Voodoo Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

App: Bayou Voodoo
Developer: Happy Dead Designs LLC
Android package: com.happydead.voodoo

Bayou Voodoo is a spooky toy: stitch a creepy cloth doll, then poke it with pins, singe it, tickle it and hex it with silly curses. The short version: we collect nothing, and the app has no internet access at all.

Data collection

• There is no account and no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
• The app does not have Android's internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere.

Photo face (optional)

• You can sew a face from a photo onto the doll. You pick the photo with Android's photo picker (or take a selfie with the camera app); the app gets only that one picture and no access to the rest of your photos.
• The cropped face is saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. It is never uploaded or shared, and there is no way to send a doll to anyone. "Remove" on the Doll screen deletes it.
• Please only use your own photo, or one you have permission to use, and never use the doll to target anyone.

What stays on your phone

• Your doll's look, its name, your sound setting and your pins are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes everything.

Just for fun

Nothing in the app is real magic. The pin-cushion "voodoo doll" comes from horror movies and folklore, not from the real Vodou or Voodoo faiths, and the app uses no religious symbols.

Children

The app is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
