Ask the crystal ball a question - typed or out loud - and it answers in one of three personalities, using an AI model that runs on your phone, and can read its answer aloud. The short version: we collect nothing. Your questions and the ball's answers never leave your phone.

Data collection

• There is no account and no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
• Questions you type and the answers are processed on your phone by the on-device model and are not sent to us or anyone else.

The one internet download

• To give AI answers, the app can download its "brain" once: an open AI model file (Qwen2.5, Apache-2.0) from Hugging Face. This is a plain file download; it contains nothing about you. Like any download, Hugging Face's servers see the request coming from your internet connection (your IP address). Without the download, the ball still gives built-in fortunes.

Microphone (optional)

• The app asks for the microphone only when you turn on "Hear the room" / "Music mode" or tap "Ask out loud".
• Hear the room and Music mode only measure how loud the sound around the phone is, so the orb can flicker and pulse. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent.
• Ask out loud turns your spoken question into text with a speech recognizer inside the app (Vosk, on your phone); if it can't start, the phone's own on-device recognizer is used. The audio is not saved or sent anywhere.
• The ball's spoken answers use your phone's own offline text-to-speech voices.

What stays on your phone

• The model file, your chosen voice, the optional name you give the ball to use, and today's fortune are stored only in the app's storage on your phone.
• "Report this answer" saves the report on your phone and opens your share menu; it is only sent if you choose an app and send it yourself.
• Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored.

For entertainment

The crystal ball can't see the future. Its answers are generated by an AI model and may be silly, wrong or odd. It won't make predictions about health, death, money or other people, and it is not professional advice. If you are struggling, please talk to someone you trust, or call or text 988 in the US.

Children

The app is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
